A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose porcelain vases, mid to late 19th century, each globular body and narrow neck with cylindrical rim, flanked by gilt elephant head handles, typically painted with panels of figures, birds, flowers and insects, the gilt ground densely painted with scrolling tendrils, flowerheads and butterflies, unmarked, height 35.5cm (one repaired).
