A pair of Japanese Imari porcelain side dishes, Edo period, each with iron oxide washed petal lobed rim, moulded in low relief with eight radiating fan panels, enamelled in iron red, green, brown and gilt with a butterfly above blossoming leafy tendrils, underglaze blue Fuku mark to bases, diameter 17.3cm (one with minor rim chip).
