LOT 1185
A pair of Chinese famille rose enamelled yellow ground porcelain bowls, mark of Guangxu and probably of the period, each of steep-sided circular form with slightly flared rim, the exterior with four gilt Wan Shou Wu Jiang characters reserved against a ground of ribbon-tied fylfots, vapours and crashing waves, all below an iron red keyfret banded rim, each interior with five iron red and gilt bats framing a shou medallion, red enamelled six-character mark to bases, height 6.4cm, diameter 14.1cm (one with minor chip and faint hairlines to rim).
