A pair of Japanese Satsuma earthenware vases by Kusube, Meiji period, each shouldered hexagonal tapering body painted and gilt with opposing figural panels of bijin and children, within gilt enriched blue glazed borders, iron red and gilt signature to bases, height 19cm, together with a Satsuma circular bowl, painted with a figural scene, indistinct signature to base, diameter 15.8cm.
