A large Chinese black silk embroidered rectangular panel, early 20th century, worked in coloured threads with a procession scene of figures carrying banners and flags towards palace gates, on a black ground, 212cm x 128cm, unframed, together with an Indian gilt thread embroidered panel of repeated flowerheads and scrolling foliage on a black ground, 41.5cm x 252cm.
