A large Borneo cast bronze zoomorphic ritual kettle, 19th century, probably Sarawak State or Brunei, the compressed circular body cast with two dragons, the domed cover with beast finial, beneath a swing handle with crocodile surmount, on a circular spreading foot, height 33cm, together with a Japanese bronze tetsubin and cover, the body cast in relief with a dragon, beneath a naturalistic swing handle, height 15.5cm (some faults and repairs).
