A rare early 20th century engraved steel die plate, probably for an advertising stamp for Spanish national insurance and annuities, detailed 'España S.A. Compania Nacional de Seguros', 'Seguros de Vida Rentas Vitalicias', with a standing crowned woman, holding a flag, beside a lion, all upon a map of Spain, height 9cm width 7.5cm, together with two die proof test strikes of the design, printed in light and dark blue.
