Anne [Campbell] and Bill Moir were great friends of Bernard Cornwell when they all worked together at the BBC on the ‘Nationwide’ programme. Before leaving for America, Bill Moir was Cornwell’s closest friend in England and he dedicated his novel ‘Stonehenge’ to Bill after his friend’s death in 1998.
