RAG-TIME. – George TOMPKINS (composer) and C.C.S. CUSHING. The Yellow Faun, a Musical Comedy in 3 Acts. Simsbury, Connecticut: The Westminster Dramatic Club, 1913. 8vo (241 x 130mm.) Photographic illustrations (Toning, uncut leaves.) Original pictorial wrappers (small tears and creasing to margins). Note: scarce. Early in his career Tompkins was musical director for the private Westminster School in Simsbury, Connecticut. He also composed the music for ‘The Elephant’s Remorse’ with C.C.S. Cushing writing the lyrics in 1914 and was the author of the 1918 foxtrot ‘Cassandra’.
