Half-title, 8 woodburytype plates, 32pp. publishers’ catalogue to rear dated November 1877. (Toning, illegible contemporary signature to title, entry on p.13 of publisher’s catalogue excised.) Original boards, gilt lettering to spine (small stain to lower cover, lightly rubbed). – And a further fourteen books relating to America (including ‘Famous Adventures and Prison Escapes of the Civil War’, edited by G.W. Cable, 1898, 8vo) (15).
