AVIATION. – James GLAISHER. Travels in the Air. London: Richard Bentley, 1871. Second and Revised Edition, 8vo (253 x 153mm.) 6 chromolithographed plates, numerous illustrations. (Toning, marginal damp-stain to preliminaries.) Original pictorial red cloth (rebacked with original spine laid down, heavily rubbed). – And a further twenty-six volumes relating to aviation (including Peter Celis’ ‘Runways to Victory’, 2003, 4to, and Martyn Barber’s ‘A History of Aerial Photography and Archaeology’, 2011, 8vo) (27).
