NAVAL. – Tyrrel E. BIDDLE. The Corinthian Yachtsman, or Hints on Yachting. London: Norie & Wilson, 1886. 8vo (223 x 134mm.) 2 plates, 4pp. advertisements to rear. (Toning, minor spotting to rear, illegible name to front pastedown.) Original blue cloth, pictorial gilt to upper cover (a few odd marks). – And a further eleven volumes related to sailing and naval history (including ‘Instructions for the Guidance of the Captains and Commanding Officers of Her Majesty’s Ships of War Employed in the Suppression of the Slave Trade’, 1892, 8vo, and Lionel Yexley’s ‘The Inner Life of the Navy’, 1908, 8vo, and Edgar J. March’s ‘Sailing Trawlers’, 1953, 8vo, and his ‘Sailing Drifters’, 1952, 8vo, and F.G.D. Bedford’s ‘The Sailor’s Hand-Book’, 1890, 8vo) (12).
