A Japanese Satsuma earthenware circular bowl by Koshida, late Meiji period, the interior painted and gilt with a scene of a temple and trees beneath a millefleurs band, the exterior with three oval panels of flowers, figures and landscapes, on a millefleurs ground, iron red and gilt signature to base, height 7.5cm, diameter 18.5cm.
