A pair of Japanese cloisonné bottle vases, Meiji period, each squat globular body decorated with sparrows flying and in bird houses amidst blossoming prunus branches on a turquoise ground, beneath a slightly flared narrow neck filled with birds, dragons and butterflies, unsigned, height 30cm (one with bruise/loss to shoulder).
