A South-east Asian brown patinated bronze figure of Buddha, probably Thai or Khmer, modelled in a standing pose with hands held out in double abhaya mudra, wearing a long cape-like samgati and sampot, the face with serene expression and elongated earlobes, his hair rising to a domed usnisa, height 42cm, with later fitting to base and ebonized plinth.
