A Charles V of France hammered gold franc à pied 1364-1380, obverse with King standing within gothic arch or canopy holding sword in his right hand and Hand of Justice in his left, reverse with angled quatrefoil pellet to centre, crowns and fleurs to angles, Paris Mint, weight 3.6g (extremely fine with good eye-appeal).
