A Japanese Satsuma earthenware koro and cover by Sengyoku, Meiji period, the hexagonal body finely painted and gilt with alternating panels of peonies and chrysanthemums, raised on three trilobed feet, the pierced domed cover with floral motifs, gilt signature to base, height 12.4cm (minor repair to one foot).
