Half-title, portrait frontispiece, plates and illustrations in the text. (Lacking map, no advertisements to rear, toning.) Original pictorial brown cloth (joints and spine ends rubbed). Note: the second part of the series. – And a further forty-three volumes related to Africa (including Samuel W. Baker’s ‘The Nile Tributaries of Abyssinia’, 1874, 8vo, and A. le Roy’s ‘Au Kilima-ndjaro’, 1914, large 8vo, and A.L.
