Late 18th century red half morocco, eight-pointed gilt stars to spine (extremities rubbed). Note: the 19th century Gaddesden Library bookplate suggests this book may have previously been owned by Thomas Henshaw. Henshaw’s books made up the bulk of the Gaddesden collection, of which a significant part was sold at auction in 2021. Provenance: Gaddesden Library (bookplate to front pastedown).
