A pair of George V silver two-handled cups, commemorating King George IV's historic royal visit to Scotland in 1822, each with girdled body and scroll handles, on a circular foot, one side engraved with the crest of Macfie, the other side with inscription 'King George IV landed at Leith 15 August 1822' above 'John Macfie Chief Magistrate...', Edinburgh 1921 by Mackay & Chisholm, total weight 930.4g, height 12.7cm, together with another Scottish silver two-handled cup, engraved with the crest of Macfie, Edinburgh 1893 by Mackay & Chisholm, weight 363.8g, height 13.2cm, a 'John Macfie of Edinburgh & His Family' book, circa 1938, and other related paperwork.
