A Roman Empire Gratian gold solidus 374-375 AD, Trier Mint, obverse with diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Gratian facing right, reverse with two enthroned emperors facing, holding globe between them, 'TROBT' below, Sears 4026, weight 4.0g, with an old collector's ticket describing it as coming from the borders of France and Germany.
