A Chinese wucai porcelain jar and cover, Transitional period, mid-17th century, the stout-shouldered tapering body painted with a frieze of hanging lanterns and pendants amidst lotus tendrils, beneath a lotus, chrysanthemum and scrolling tendril band to shoulder and a similarly decorated domed cover, unmarked, height 35.5cm (repaired neck and cracked).
