A Chinese blue and white porcelain cylinder vase, mark of Kangxi but late 19th century, painted with birds flying amidst flowers, underglaze blue four-character mark to base, height 29.8cm, together with a Japanese enamelled celadon crackle glazed circular dish, Meiji period, the centre decorated with a seated scholar within a scroll border, diameter 30.4cm.
