A late Victorian silver novelty vesta case in the form of a ship's port lantern, the inscription engraved hinged lid with match strike and fitted with a swing handle above a banner, detailed 'Port', and red glazed front, London 1897 by Samuel Jacob, weight 98.7g, total height 10.5cm.
