A Victorian gold cased, black enamelled and half-pearl set mourning brooch of shaped oval form, glazed with a central woven hair locket compartment within a surround of half-pearls, otherwise with scroll pierced decoration to the border, on a black enamelled ground, detailed ‘In Memory Of R L Thomson who died 6th Feby 1875, aged 51’, width 6cm, with a case.
