A George V silver and tortoiseshell evening purse, the front inset with a tortoiseshell panel, piqué inlaid with a floral and ribbon pendant garland, the back inset with a plain tortoiseshell panel, both framed by a bellflower surround, fitted with a carrying chain, the interior with dark tan leather compartments, Birmingham 1912 by E.S. Barnsley & Co, width 9.3cm, total length 24.5cm.
