A pair of George VI silver and parcel gilt spoons, made for the Worshipful Company of Salters, each with cast shell bowl and coat of arms finial, London 1937 by D. & J. Wellby Ltd, weight 99.9g, length 14.6cm, within original fitted brown leather case with tooled gilt coat of arms to hinged lid, together with another Salters Company silver spoon, London 1893 by Carrington & Co, weight 44.5g, length 14.7cm. Note: the Worshipful Company of Salters is one of the livery companies of the City of London. The company originated as the Guild of Corpus Christi, which was granted a Royal Charter of Incorporation in 1394.
