The Children of the Chapel Royal choristers was first established in the 15th century. They sing for the monarch at Kensington and Buckingham Palace and at the two chapels in St. James’s Palace. There are ten boy choristers. Henry Purcell, Arthur Sullivan, Pelham Humfrey and Michael Wise were all choristers of the Chapel Royal.
