ALIGHIERI, Dante. La Vita Nuova. The New Life… translated by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. Coventry: Cheylesmore Press, [1915.] 4to (241 x 178mm.) Mounted colour illustrations by Evelyn Paul, colour decorations, music by Alfred Mercer. (Toning, occasional finger-mark.) Original publisher’s full medieval style calf with mounted bas-relief of Dante to upper cover (hinges weakened, spine and extremities rubbed). – And a further volume published by the same press (Micheal West’s ‘Claire de Lune, and Other Troubadour Romances’, [1913], 4to) (2).
