(Crease to rear endpaper of ‘The Return,’ toning, spotting to fore-edges.) Original red cloth (spotting to upper covers of ‘The Return’ and ‘The Two Towers’), dust-jackets (spines browned, minor chipping, occasional finger-mark). Note: ‘The Fellowship of the Ring’ is the 15th impression, ‘The Two Towers’ is the 11th impression in a 12th impression dust-jacket, ‘The Return of the King’ is an 11th impression. – And a further five volumes by J.R.R. Tolkien (‘The Book of Lost Tales’, Part 1, 4th impression, 1984, 8vo, and ‘The Book of Lost Tales’, Part 2, 1st impression, 1984, 8vo, and ‘The Lays of Beleriand’, 1st impression, 1985, 8vo, and ‘The Silmarillion’, 1st impression, 1977, 8vo, and ‘The Hobbit’, 14th impression, 1963, 8vo) (8).
