(Lacking the frontispiece and additional engraved title, marginal damp-staining to several leaves, lacking index.) Contemporary calf, later black morocco lettering piece to spine (endpapers replaced, a few scuff marks, light rubbing). Note: John Weever was an English antiquary and poet and he took an interest in tomb inscriptions from his first publication in 1599. He then spent thirty years collecting tomb inscriptions across England, Scotland, Ireland, France and Italy.
