(Lacking nearly 300 woodcuts and numerous  text leaves, text-block broken, marginal losses to title, many leaves with marginal insect-damage, occasional damp-staining). Disbound. Note: an iconic and compendious work showing a vast range of European costume with an element of fantasy, too. Vecellio was a cousin of Titian, studied with him, and it is thought that Titian assisted him in the design of the illustrations.
