HORACE. Quinti Horatii Flacci Poemata: cum Commentariis Joh. Min-ellii. Rotterdam: Reiner Leers, 1700. 1 vol. [bound in 2], 12mo (126 x 75mm.) Wood-engraved vignette to title, text and commentary in Latin, interleaved with numerous blank leaves. (Pencil annotation to many blank leaves, browning, occasional dust-soiling, lacking pp-119-120.) Contemporary calf and original boards (lacking spine and calf to vol. 1, hinges weakened). Provenance: Charles Smythe (ink name to title). – And a further volume (Thomas Haselden’s ‘The Carpenter’s Rule Made Easy’, eighth edition, 1727, [lacking folding plate], 12mo) (3).
