Note: a conscientiously ordered and neatly written record of political and economic events, including individual entries for numerous South American countries for most years. The author cites Mayo’s ‘Universal History’, Cooke’s ‘Modern Europe’, the ‘Edinburgh Annual Register’, ‘The General Annual Register’, and William Belsham’s ‘Memoirs of the Reign of George III’ as some of his sources.
