A Gruen Autowind 18K gold circular cased gentleman's wristwatch, the signed and jewelled 930 SS caliber automatic movement, the signed silvered dial with gilt arrowhead hour markers and detailed 'Ed Sullivan 1955', the signed case back interior detailed 'M89199' above '93055-948', the case back detailed '18K', case diameter 3.4cm, the case back with presentation inscription 'To the World's Best Salesman with Best Wishes from Gruen', on a brown leather strap. Note: a gift from Ed Sullivan (1901-1974), legendary American television host, to previous owner in 1955.
