A Seiko Automatic 150m 'Slim Willard' stainless steel cased gentleman's diver's wristwatch, Ref. 6105-8000, circa March 1969, with signed and jewelled 6105A caliber movement, the signed black dial with luminous hour markers and date aperture and detailed 'Water 150m Proof', the signed case back numbered '6105-8000' above '931006', case width 4.2cm, on a black rubber strap (lacking bezel). Note: during the Vietnam War, Seiko watches were offered in U.S. Military post exchanges on bases in South-east Asia. The 6105 was worn by Martin Sheen's character, Captain Willard, in Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 iconic war film Apocalypse Now.
