An early Victorian gold and pale blue enamelled oval hinged bangle with floral, foliate and scroll engraved decoration, on a snap clasp, the hinged front opening to reveal a glazed portrait miniature painted on ivory of a young gentleman, the back with a vacant locket compartment, unmarked, weight 63.2g, inside width 6.1cm (some damage to the enamel), with a case. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
