A pair of gold backed and silver set, diamond and amethyst drop shaped pendant earrings, 19th century, each collet set with the drop shaped amethyst within a surround of old cut cushion shaped diamonds, below an amethyst and diamond trefoil shaped surmount, with later post and butterfly fittings, weight 11.8g, length 4.4cm.
