Armand Godard (1883-1948) - an Art Deco cast bronze and ivory figure of an exotic female dancer, finely modelled holding her headscarf in one hand, a mirror in the other, balanced on one foot and raised on a banded onyx plinth, bearing incised signature 'GODARD', height 50cm (repair to one thumb and right side panel of plinth). Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
