A Chinese copper alloy handwarmer, Qing dynasty, of rounded rectangular form with overhead swing handle, the pierced cover with geometric cloud shaped design, incised four-character Zhang Mingqi Zhi mark to base, weight 1113.4g, height including handle 15cm, length 20cm. Provenance: the Finer Collection of later bronzes and handwarmers.
