A Chinese Hongmu throne-style mirror stand, late Qing dynasty, the carved and pierced graduated five-panel back decorated with figural scenes and flowers, each surmounted with carved dragon head crestings, all supported on a galleried rectangular base fitted with a drawer, the front carved in low relief with lotus and scrolling tendrils, above a similarly carved frieze and scroll feet, height 67.5cm, width 48.3cm, depth 32cm.
