A pair of Chinese blue and white export porcelain square bowls, mark of Chenghua but Kangxi period, each of steep-sided square form with canted corners, each exterior painted with panels of a dignitary and attendant within line borders, underglaze blue six-character mark within double ring to bases, height 8cm, width 14.4cm (one with chips and hairline crack to rim), with carved and pierced hardwood circular stands.
