LOT 1177
An Indo-Persian brass part astrolabe, mid-17th century, possibly Lahore School, the mater cast in one piece with a symmetrically fretted scrollwork kursi surmount, the tracery engraved with stylized leaf decoration, each side with engraved detail, diameter 9.8cm, length 13.4cm (lacking plates and other fittings).
