A Chinese copper alloy handwarmer and cover, Qing dynasty, of rounded rectangular form with overhead swing handle, the pierced cover with roundels and Wan symbols, unmarked, weight 1233.5g, height including handle 16cm, length 20cm. Provenance: the Finer Collection of later bronzes and handwarmers; purchased from Roger Keverne Ltd, 3rd September 2014, where dated as 17th/18th century.
