An early Victorian Scottish silver novelty inkwell in the form of an upright cannon and stand, crest engraved, the hinged lid inscription engraved ‘Presented to Lt Col G.H. Watkins OBE RA by The Officers 39 Medium Regiment RA 26.IX.1975’, Edinburgh 1846 by James Kirkwood, weight 513.8g, height 11.7cm (faults).
