A fine 17th century Central European ebony veneered and ivory line inlaid collector's chest, possibly Italian, the top with a silver handle, the fall front enclosing an arrangement of eight oak-lined drawers, each front inset with a silver panel engraved with cherubs, putti and a central heraldic crest, height 17cm, width 20cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
