A Rolex Oyster Royal stainless steel circular cased gentleman's wristwatch, Ref. 2280, circa 1942, with signed and jewelled movement, the signed dial with Arabic hour numerals and subsidiary seconds and detailed with retailer's name 'Forbes', the winding button detailed 'Rolex Oyster', the signed case back interior numbered '2280', the case back with milled edge, numbered '223256', case diameter 3cm.
