VYNER, Robert T. Notitia Venatica, a Treatise on Fox-Hunting Embracing the General Management of Hounds. London: John C. Nimmo, 1892. New edition, 8vo (257 x 160mm.) 12 hand-coloured plates after Henry Alken, tissue-guards. (Mild toning.) Brown half morocco over pebbled cloth, gilt vignettes to spine, t.e.g. (inner hinge slightly weakened, lightly rubbed, minor scuffing). – And a further twelve volumes (including John Evelyn’s ‘Silva: or, a Discourse of Forest-Trees’, 1729, folio, and ‘The Works of Robert Burns’, 2 vols., 1858, 8vo, and Peter Nicholson’s ‘The New Practical Builder, and Workman’s Companion’, 1823, 8vo) (13).
