A late Victorian silver ovoid jar and cover with knop finial above chased and engraved birds amongst foliate scrolls, raised on three cast ribbon and bellflower legs terminating in claw and ball feet, London 1890 by William Comyns & Sons, height 11cm, together with a silver rectangular box, embossed with lattice panels, flowers and 'C' scrolls, Birmingham 1901 by Williams (Birmingham) Ltd, length 13.8cm, total weight 322g.
