A George V silver and enamelled snuff box of rectangular form with sloping sides, the hinged lid inset with an oval ivory panel carved with a classical scene of figures and horses, between blue and green enamelled sides imitating lapis lazuli and malachite and engraved with foliate scrolls, import mark London 1929 by British Commercial Transport Co Ltd, weight 96.4g, length 7.8cm. Note: a non-transferrable ivory exemption certificate has been granted for the sale of this item.
